What was initially intended as a road trip through Ireland turned into a last-minute, spontaneous adventure through Germany due to unexpectedly heavy rain in usually sunny Ireland.
Living in Belgium, with Germany as our neighboring country, I had never considered Germany to be such a beautiful and nature-packed destination. But, oh boy, was I mistaken.
